i'm obsessed with how do i create the conditions that people want to take a risk on me? And so i think an email like that is going, all right, i think this person is worth my time. Because, to your point, i think they will advance what i care about. It shows intent, but it shows that i've become obsessed that a huge proportion of our success in our lives is in direct correlation with others choosing to take risks on us.
