The System of Authorship

Beer: I think that what beer seems to take away from there is this idea of these constructed conceptual languages being kind of instrumental and purpose built. So as an author thinking about writing as designing a system between yourself and the reader, I think is quite an interesting way to approach authorship. And then the final thing that really stood out to me is that he says the book begins three times. The first establishes some talk. The second says what I really wanted to say using the talk. The third hopefully says what the reader really wanted to hear given that he has already heard what I really want to say.
