i like the mabeas kind of latched on to that informality part of it with their playball campaign, where you don't need a lot of structure to play baseball. In essence, just playing catch is playing baseball. And they've done some things like the dream series, or other alternatives for older, more established players who are not your typical show case tournament. Although maybe even to get to that point you have to have been in show cases or on travel ball teams,. But i know they've made some efforts in that area, but you would think it would be a big focus for a league that has so little revenue.
