The recipe calls for cornmeal, but it should have something crispy on it. The pingo sounds good and I know in the past, I've ground up nuts to make, you know, a flower of sorts. It's always kind of a hit or miss thing. We also have egg allergies. So what would be a good substitute for the egg in that... Egg, milk. Then there's dairy. Even water. How about egg white?
