The Future of Cryptocurrency Sharding

I feel in a way it's solved the Bitcoin, I said the Bitcoin chime early, the trilemma for any cryptocurrency really in this sharding idea. It could become heavily at the detriment to smaller sort of competitors like Solana,. which has had many other problems, particularly in terms of uptime over the last year. Can somebody take you into sharding? Tom, do you any of you just so people in the audience know? Because I think you'll we kind of take for granted that people understand all this vernacular. But I mean, even James, if you want quickly before Tom jumps in just to discuss what that is and when that's likely going.
