The Satellites Are Transiting and They Could Be a Problem for Our Receivers
It's likely that we will have to stop observation from time to time because the satellites are transiting and they could be even a risk for our receivers. A few of them of these satellite constellations they are trying to cover some frequency range that overlaps with some of our receivers so this is going to be a problem for us. I think that we as a radio astronomy observatory we are very limited we cannot do much but what we can do is to open a table let's say with the international authorities like for example the International Telecommunication Union which is covering this type of matters. We're trying to organize and coordinate wherever is the occupation of the electromagnetic spectrum worldwide right this is what
