The Origin of Language

Homo sapiens, in the very strictest sense, our own modern species. The earliest evidence for that is some bones found in 300,000 year old rocks in Morocco. We start seeing a new level of culture 40 to 50,000 years ago when there's this massive migration of modern humans out of Africa and go all over Eurasia and Europe. In 45,000year old caves from Indonesia, you see real art. You see big improvements in tool technology. One might guess that language is coming online here.
