"I don't like setting a precedent for trying to analyze the reasons for why a trans person identifies the way they do," says Bonzander. "If if shan legitimately identified their sexual identity or their gender identity as the winner of the debate, then i guess i'd say i'd accept it." The only reason why we use boy, girl, man, woman is because we've normalized it and that social label has sort of grown a certain amount of expectations went along with it.
