Don't measure life with someone else's ruler. Create your own standards. I resigned myself to poverty a life of poverty and not having very much money but having a lot of time. That was the liberation that I saw was was saying, look, I don't need very much money to be happy. So I'm going to do these things and the fact that they succeeded was a bonus.
