The ABC of Marxism as a Political Strategy

What Mysano misses is the paramount importance of class-based organization and its ability to reshape consciousness. There is no shortcut to an independent class politics, whether through a party surrogate or otherwise. An authentically emancipatory political project must aim at the conquest of state power by only the truly revolutionary class existing in modern society - the proletariat. To achieve this, it must base itself on the only possible revolutionary subject and organized workers' movement. A revolutionary program of proletarian rule only appears as a feasible horizon in the presence of a robust workers'movement.
