Teacherly Authority Is at the Root of the Theorizing Ido in the Book

Teacherly authority is a deeply rooted aspect of what it means to be human. We've had structures, both formal and informal, of teacherly authority in play for as long as we've been human. If i only have any symmetry of knowledge and power, then i have pseudo-teacherly authority which has been the big problem lately. And that can slowly undermine the ability to perceive a legitimate teacherly authority.
