When the US left in August, they immediately froze the assets of Afghanistan's central bank. The $3.5 billion for 9-11 victims is currently being held up in court. This winter there is horrific stories that we've seen coming out over the past 14, 15 months about fathers having to sell their daughters off into marriage to pay for food. And this is barely reported on when it really made it some press back in November of 2021. But the US's culpability and responsibility for it was completely glossed over as I wrote about at the time for my sub stack.
