How to Order Food at Restaurants

In other countries, you ask for the bill or for the check. In the us, you don't do this. You just put your payment there and then they take this, and they run your credit card and charge you. This is considered to be a very bad action, to not leave a tip. So i wanted to explain this because it can be confusing for foreigners who are traveling in the us.
