Challenges of Single Parenthood and Seaweed Farming

This chapter examines the high prevalence of single-parent households in Latin America, focusing on the struggles faced by single mothers amid socio-economic and cultural challenges. It also highlights governmental efforts to support these families and contrasts their situation with that of families in sub-Saharan Africa. Additionally, the chapter shifts to seaweed farming in North Devon, discussing its environmental benefits and the economic potential of this burgeoning industry.
