Is the Fed on the Verge of Making a Policy Er?
We haven't seen concerted intervention in forex since the eighties. The Fed has been central planters with rates and money supply for 20 years. They could say it's fighting inflation, but there're a lot of people already that feel that they've already been tighter than they needed to be. We don't know the impact of this monetary policy until next year. It takes time to work through the system. And we're actually putting our faith in somebody that calls the problem that they're trying to correct and guide us into a soft landing. Help me out. I'm a little jaded.
