Tokin himself wrote an allegory one, at least, a leaf by niggle. But to allegorize a story is to make it not a story, or at least to make the story not indispensable. The better the book, the worse the commentaries on it. Nobody has ever writen a good book on plato. Plato dwarfes everybody. Some of the hardest philosophers, hegel mark, a cant, heideger, witkenstein are very good, but they're all terrible writers.
