We're in the Midst of an Invisible Epidemic

I believe our culture is in the midst of an invisible epidemic. The symptoms can be read everywhere from drug addiction to domestic abuse, school bullying and online trolling. And the answer won't be found with more laws or higher penalties for crime but when we acknowledge that intimacy isn't a weakness. It's a drive like thirst or hunger. We're starving ourselves to death.
