I Don't Need to Cite the Bible in Romans 7

Lewis did not want to come across as someone who is explicitly Christian in his approach. He does not cite scripture very much although there are clearly passages he alludes to and one or two which he does actually specifically reference. In effect when you look at Lewis's approach very carefully it's obvious that it is deeply saturated with biblical thinking.
