Togetherness and Renunciation Go Hand in Hand

Bearing witness doesn't mean you're a witness. It means you're engaged. You're not dissociated. When we're still, when we're paying attention, we're connected. There's intimacy. And what is it that we're renouncing? Our viewpoint. Then this leads eventually to a deeper viewpoint, which is wisdom or in Sanskrit what's called prognia. Wisdom is taking your insight and testing it out over and over again in the world so that your insight is constantly being worked. After a journey through the wilderness, we must discover it for ourselves after a journeythrough the wilderness.Which no one else can make for us. Which no one can spare us.
