The Importance of Preparing Trials
The next trial, as we talked yesterday, is prepare three testing whether or not you should be giving vasoconstrictors at the same time as your induction and adience. So I think now we know there's no difference in cardiovascular collapse. I think we don't need to do a trial 10 times larger looking at in-house mortality. This is one of the largest trials of tracheal intubation ever conducted. And even still, we would be dramatically underpowered to look at an outcome like in-house deaths.
