What's My Model of Explanation?

Even the best experts who are right about just about everything in their field, and that includes knowing what they don't know. What is the ideal explanation consist of? If i'm trying to persuade somebody and i have unlimited resources, what do i need to go through? And it's really important to ask this - we at least need to know what the ideal is.
