The Problem With Augustine's Concept of Original Sinfulness
The depth of Augustine's sense of the reality of evil is, as it were, the preoccupation he has with the notion of original sinfulness. And a way of seeing the difference between Christian doctrine and the thoughts of Aristotle and Plato is I think to go back to that idea of theocratic person. But this is someone who as it were knows what the good is and then proceeds to do the reverse of it.
