There are mutations in gada too, which is a core transcription factor. And that causes human NK deficiency. Orhan Rossett trained as a veterinarian in Bucharest Romania and then kind of started working in an immunology lab while he was there. He did a short term fellowship at Utrecht in the Netherlands before moving to Paris for his PhD program.
