How to Improve the Law of Cosines and Critical Thinking

I like matching and filling in the blank, because I had this one question where I asked the students to distinguish between the graphs of two different functions. So that process of them making distinctions gives us an ability to see can they analyze? And again, that's on that higher order of Bloom's taxonomy of thinking is by having these matching and some fill in the blanks. Grading these assignments can be tedious. But with this top hat platform, I can see their word answers. I can select them all correct and then go through and unclick the ones where it looks like they're missing things.
