Helen's book is not just mary magdalen. There are several other women disciples too that you have focused on. One of my favourite women in terms of the after lives is martha, the sister of mary and the sister of lazarus,. whom jesus raised from the dead. She may well have had a sort of safe house in bethany where jesus stayed with his disciples. But she carries on with this sort of interesting legacy later on, till you get too mediaeval france. And it's incredible that there are all these stories about saint martha and how she's ridding the whole area from this marauding dragon.
