The Tense Relationship Between Prophet and King

Samuel is a pretty pivotal person in the genealogy of Christ. He has his relationship with kings also kind of sets the pattern that we're going to see in the other prophets, like Elijah and Elijah. There's a very tense relationship between prophet and king because you have everything okay as long as the king is doing what he's supposed to do according to the Torah.
