Democra republicans are really good at uniting on this big picture, says mari teayes. But democrats do not acknowledge leftists as having anything to do the democratic party or democratic politics, other than yell at them when they don't vote. The problem with the democratic party is that its basis is like what's left of the union movement but then also a bunch of corporations and banks. It makes sense for them to do this, because the part of their base that actually matters isn't,. like the labor movement. It's, like, its goldman sacks.
