How Do You Write a Novel?

When I was 13, I swore to myself that I would become a novelist. In your 2016 book of Afroistic prose poems, The Hermit, you return over and over again to the novel as form. Or I want to write an essay about the novel as a site of novelty where the proposition anything can happen is somehow tested. Your 2015 book, World Killers, perhaps provocatively places a novel within the same covers as poetry and essay, sitting it between them. You seem to have an enduring preoccupation, dare I say, obsession with the Novel as a form,. His 2012 poetry chapbook is titled simply novel.
