I think Scowcroft understood the United States better than Ajami and Lewis did. He was a career military man. So I think he had a greater understanding of the limitations as well as the capabilities of American military force. And freedom is untidy, I think we want to fight. That's kind of liberated me because there's a tendency when you've taken a controversial stance for some reason to take it out on others.
