I'm always saying, what about the sincere fanatics? Without them, nothing happens in the first place. You can't start mass murder with just opportunists. You need true believers or things stay okay. So you put Stalin in the fanatic camp, not the opportunist camp? Yeah, I would say he was probably both. He was a fanatics, for sure.
