We acknowledge that there were some things a little bit off about Wim and the organization around him, but at that time we thought that the message would ultimately prevail despite some initial concerns. It wasn't only those superficial aspects of his daily habits that concerned me. Hof embodied the worst possible model for parenthood that any of us could imagine.
