What's in the Bill?
The bill would be the biggest climate investment in us. History, with 369 billion dollars set aside to combat global warming. There are also billions and tax credits to fossil fuel companies to encourage them to invest in clean energy manufacturing. And this is ke the bill actually supports expanding investment in domestic oil and gas exploration on federal lands and in federal waters. In different times, a bill like this, that has trade offs between green tax incentives, but also more drilling permits for fossil fuel companies, that in a different time this would get by partisan support.
