The Worst Trade I Made in My First Year of Trading

The first year of trading and I didn't know what I was doing at all. I got on a chat site And everybody was talking about this Little company small cap company trading around two dollars a share That had a proprietary technology that would turn, um, salt water into drinking water. The product wasn't even going to come to market for at least 10 years Because the technology wasn't there and they couldn't scale it. By the time the stock opened up the next day and there was no pre-market trading in those days It was half the price of what I bought  and I think I got 80 cents a share for it big big loss.
