The Death Penalty Trials for Joseph Holden
The first episode opens up with that hostage scene where the hostage taker ends up blowing his own head off in that. Hey, spoiler, spoiler, it's a season long thing. Joe was possibly facing the death penalty because the prosecutor was charging him with not only murder, but with robbery and sexual assault. The fence lawyers called a surprise witness in an effort to help Joe avoid the death sentence. This is one of the strangest things I've ever come across in, in, in trials here.
