The Importance of Recognizing Harm to Victims
I want people to fit into these nice little boxes where they are defined by the worst thing they've ever done. I think this is something that restorative justice is attempting to address. Our society is really, really bad at acknowledging harm done to victims. And we sort of leave victims to their private grief and don't go out of our way to help them recover.
