The Importance of Metaphors in the Middle East

There's still an awful lot that's specific to a language and even within a language you get sociolects subculture images and even idiolects. My stepfather is a mechanic so he's used lots of mechanical metaphors for example the angry person is a pressurized container a cure occurs in his language when he talks about someone blowing a gasket.
