We noticed that experts had mental representations of the system they were troubleshooting in at various levels of abstraction which novices didn't have. So we developed these kinds of intermediate level representations for functional representations for the troubleshooters. The navy took up that approach and sort of reorganized their entire engineering education all the all the classes that they taught at their schools were being reorganized according to the concepts that we had developed so i think in you know that's one of the most successful projects that we ever did.
