Is There a Difference Between Level Design and Game Field Design?
The movement, player movement of the player, the jump height, the gravity, you know, the max velocity threshold for when you're moving. That stuff was all figured out before we committed to any layouts at all. The abilities and how they interact with each other, that was kind of tweaked a few times on the way. But we really wanted, I mean, it all is made made or broken by the level of layouts. So we needed to make sure that like that stuff wasn't going to change later.
