The History of the Pines

When the colonists showed up and started working their way into cutting down the forest in New England throughout the 17th century. Much of the lands were quickly cleared with many of the largest pines being claimed by King George, even through law for naval shipmasts. Now for most folks, pines might seem kind of like an ordinary tree or even maybe like a generally useless tree from like an agroecological perspective. And I hate pines. Well, hate is kind of a strong word. You heard it here first, everybody. Andy hates trees. Y'all trying to get me tree canceled. Gotcha.
