The first industrial revolution has come and gone. We're starting the second one at which point mechanized production of consumer goods really starts to kick into gear. So you get a scale of consumer goods that is like never existed before in history. It becomes a lot less work intensive to just buy something. And because there are all these new factory jobs, you know, the industrial revolution brings with it a lot of different types of labor that have never existed before.
