The Limits of Nuclear Weapon Testing

In september 1961 the soviet union resumed its test program united states quickly followed suit. In july 1963 chris jeff signaled that he would accept a more limited test ban treaty Instead of banning nuclear weapon tests outright the treaty would prohibit explosions in water air and outer space. But the treaty did not quite solve the problem of nuclear weapons Because it only applied to the countries that signed it. It didn't prevent other countries from acquiring nuclear weapons The existing nuclear powers could keep the weapons they had they could even develop new and more powerful ones All they had to do Was figure out how to test them on a ground Summer is finally here, which means the great outdoors are hotter more humid
