The Importance of Taking a Fall

If you get derailed, it means whatever you were planning on doing got thrown off by something. Sometimes if we want to say that we fell pretty badly, we can say that we took a fall or you took a fall. Another way that we say this sometimes, it's a very natural phrase, is to say I took a spill. So as you would spill a liquid, you talk about a fall as a spill. If you're learning that adjective clumsy, it means you have lots of accidents, you take lots of falls,. You are not graceful if you are clumsy.
