How Do You Come Up With a Melody?

i come up with sort of either a lyrical idea oror a idea, i'll start to play the changes and find the melody that kind of goes around those changes. Ah, and it's funny, cause i, you know, on the iphone, as those a voice, voice apts,. you know, ar voice notes aps, which are so fantastic for song writers. You you hit it, and it just records.
