A reader magnet is a bribe. It's just bait. Come join my list. Trade your email address and now you have access to this person's in box, which is great access to have. The vast majority of people check their email every day or at least every two days. Most people check their emales in bed, on their phone on the toilet. You're not going to get seen there. So the reader magnet gets them on that list where you then have some access to them.
