How Much Mindfulness Is Required to Change the Chain of Events?
I was watching the biosocial theory that we've talked about play out in real time where I started to feel invalidated and then it made me escalate. It made my emotions get a lot more intense because of that invalidation. And so I wanted to, I was having these urges to really express myself, really express my anger and the fact that I was feeling invalidated. So I turned off my camera for just a second,. did a quick spritz on my face, turned my camera back on and felt way less escalated and then was able to kind of carry on in the meeting. Wow. That is very effective. You have to kind of notice it first. Like you see it
