Daphne Du Maurier says she still has feelings of being the only African American in a lot of circles. "I don't wake up every day saying, I'm amazing," du Maurier says. She was laid off from IBM and withheld feedback from an HR leader because he said she was black.Du Maurier hopes to help other people that come behind her talk through themselves into doing something great.
