The Importance of History

The author suggests that through the Torah, because of the Torah's instruction in Judaism, Jewish people for him have had more of. "the tools necessary to appreciate the past than I assume he's comparing to Christianity" So yeah, this is where he hands off. But what we see here is that, or this idea from him, is that we can actually look at human history a lot more like simply, not as being this infinite expanse and so on.
