Most of the book is people moving around between various geographic locations like geographical locations so that they are either near or far away from certain characters. If there are two people who are of marrying age and they are not married and they hang out with each other enough thenEverybody's done enough everybody starts talking about marriage. The only way to see anybody is a horse drawn carriage, which is also why when they are in town you make a big to do out of every day.
