In many ways we buy into this notion that strength is at the forefront of what we need to externally present within the world as men. I grew up in northern Alberta which is sort of like the Texas of Canada and there's a very real fear that if I let out some of my emotional pain and actually let somebody into my inner world they won't be able to function any longer, he says.
