Some people, even wer not naturally inclined, can start off well ight. But i find quite often people who, as you said, in attempt to be deliberately sort of funny in structure about it, end up becoming too sort of rigid when they are delivering it. The first step is just understanding what you find to be humorous and embracing that more authentic sense of humor. And then once you understand your own humorous style, starting to understand the styles of others. It's really just starting to notice the truth in certain environments.
